While in Amsterdam last week I cam across something very strange and intriguing in the Red Light District. Sandwiched between the windows featuring the infamous 'ladies of the night' were windows with very fashion forward displays. Perplexed, I needed to know more.
'RedLight Fashion Amsterdam' is a high-fashion display of Dutch designers ranging from the couture designer Jan Taminiau to the street style fashion of Daryl van Wouw. Taking on 16 designers 'RedLight Fashion Amsterdam' spends 2 years schooling these designers towards professional entrepreneurship.

The juxtaposition of these fabulous fashions within the Red Light District makes these windows stand out against a somewhat competitive scape.
