Layered

I absolutely love how the studded lapel of her blazer peeks out from underneath her fur coat. A great way to layer for the winter. The Chanel T is pretty sweet too.

It is going to snow any day now and I have been dreaming about cool winter booties to keep my toes warm while I pound the pavement Saturday nights. Above are a selection of chic boots from Oak NYC. With so many different options out there, everyone is guaranteed to find the winter boot of their dreams.

Daria + Chanel + LA = 2006 Spring Summer

I've always loved this ad campaign from Spring/Summer 2006. Daria is so cool and looks amazing on the streets of LA. The first photo always made me laugh, like Chanel was promoting Rodeo Drive.

LA Bound

I love this illustration by Garance Dore. It is so dark and dreary here that I can't wait to get to LA for some colorful fun in the sun. Even if I only wear black, my surroundings will be brighter.

M Missoni Fall/Winter 09.10

Cute and fresh however missing what I love most about Missoni and what they are most famous for, the printed knits. The green tunic with the lace yoke reminds me of Stella McCartney Fall 2009 collection a bit.

Justin Bieber MTV Spot

I had to post this. Justin's guitarist is my fiance and he gets some great air time minus screaming girls. I also really like this song.

Jimmy Choo for HM

Great ads! I especially love the one with oysters because I love oysters. The handbags and shoes showcased in these ads are very Rock'n'Roll, something Choo isn't so well known for. Maybe the new look is an attempt to capture the young buyers who shop at HM?

The clothing is very glam rock and a first attempt at ready to wear for Choo. I have seen the gray suede one shoulder dress and it looks and feels great. I wonder how the other clothing items measure up. The shoes all together look good but individually they are a bit lackluster. I expected more from Jimmy Choo.

1980's Versace

Gianni Versace was an innovator of 80's fashion and one of the top designers up until his untimely death in 1997. His ad campaigns during the 80's empowered women and allowed them to appear sexy and sophisticated at the same time. From flirty mini dresses to the power shoulder suit, Versace made it all.

The fabulous leather and houndstooth jacket, modeled above by Janice Dickinson in 1983, just came into Vintagecouture.com. Make sure to visit the site as it will be up for sale very soon!

A FitFlop for the Winter

We all know FitFlops as those ugly flip flops that are supposed to tone your legs and butt. It is a constant struggle between one's sense of style and their desire for a toned body and FitFlops are at the crux.

Finally they have come up with something tolerable both fashionably and physically. In collaboration with Anna Sui and a Net-a-Porter exclusive, we have the Shakoha suede ankle boot by FitFlop. Like an Ugg boot but with more Boho appeal, the FitFlop Shakoha bootie will take you through the winter all while getting your booty ready for the summer.

Lonny Mag

Since Domino and Blueprint magazines closed I have been longing for a great home decor mag to fill the void. Welcome Lonny Mag! An online magazine founded by former Domino employee Michelle Adams and photographer Patrick Cline, Lonny works exactly like a real magazine only instead of flipping pages with your fingers, you flip them with the click of your mouse. The best part is items featured in Lonny are linked directly to their website.
