Women's Wear Daily announced today that Alexa Chung will be collaborating with the J. Crew owned clothing line, Madewell, to do an exclusive collection. Complete with a lookbook of her sketches and inspirations, the capsule collection consists of tea dresses, high waisted jeans, bomber jackets and other items that Alexa regularly is photographed in.
Now, I am a huge fan of Alexa's but I don't necessarily want every young girl in middle mall America dressing exactly like her. Part of her personal style charm is that it is unique and quirky. I am also a huge fan of J. Crew and Madewell so I am eager to see how this turns out.
Alexa will star in the campaign and the collection will be available in August 2010.
