Fall 2011: Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson's use of sequins, feathers and color make me excited for the Fall 2011 season, even while freezing my butt off in sub zero temperatures. The playfulness of the dresses with the textures created by the leather, feathers and fur give this collection a lightness that is often reserved for Spring/Summer collections. The coats are to die for and I especially love the buckled wood platform booties - need a pair stat!

Fall 2011: The Row

I am a huge fan of the Olsen sisters' sense of style and how they parlay that into their collection, The Row, by using luxurious fabrics and playing with silhouettes and styles they wear everyday. The fur pieces in this collection are to die for especially the blue fur coat and the hats. The black pieces in the collection have dimension by combining different textures together and marrying sweet with tough without looking too harsh.

Fall 2011: Jeremy Laing

I absolutely love the Fall 2011 collection from fellow Canadian Jeremy Laing. His use of unique silhouettes and graphic prints makes me excited for the fall season to come. I especially love the flaming hand symbol that appeared on a few of the pieces and the crater-esque print used on the long gowns.

Red Carpet Style: The Grammys

The Grammys is always a fashion free for all and this year was no exception. Above are my pics for best red carpet looks. Selena Gomez looked stunning in J. Mendel and Niki Minaj is amazing, always, no matter what she wears. Rhianna pulled off a very hard dress to wear by Jean Paul Gaultier and Florence Welch rocked Givenchy Haute Couture. Miley looked all grown up in Roberto Cavalli while Jennifer Hudson is half her size and looking gorgeous in Versace. Lea Michele switched it up with wearing Emilio Pucci but fell short of how amazing Pucci can be by wearing all black and Julianne Hough looked sweet and sexy in Catherine Malandrino.

Purple Carpet Style: 'Never Say Never' Premiere

Justin Bieber's Never Say Never premiered yesterday in LA and walking the purple carpet was a who's who of young Hollywood. Chloe Moretz wowed in a silver cap sleeved Burberry dress with a contrasting mint green belt and open toe booties. Miley went hippy casual in bell bottom jeans and a Winter Kate lounge jacket.
Selena Gomez wore a Reem Acra cocktail dress in the color of the night and Justin wore a velvet blazer in his signature color with black pants, sneakers and a bowtie. Jaden Smith wore a yellow motorcycle jacket with distressed jeans and matching yellow sneakers while sister Willow rocked her unique style in a cream pantsuit with flatforms and a Chanel necklace as a hairpiece.
