Overall the VMAs last night were OK. I truly loved Lady Gaga's cross dressing antics and Beyonce's performance rocked the house even with a baby bump. The outfits on the black carpet were some good, some bad and some Britney. So happy to see her there but she really needs help. Her hair was looking pretty good but that romper/mini/disaster just made her look thick through the middle and we all know she is looking a lot better than she was last night.
Top row L-R: A glowing Beyonce rocked that orange one shoulder gown showing the world that pregnancy wear can be super chic. Zoe Saldana played it safe in a black mini with eclectic accessories. Nicki Minaj blew my mind in what seems to be an architectural bustier and peplum paired with her PJs. Miley could do much better, this gown is too covered up and she should be showing off at least some skin.
Middle row L-R: Selena's black carpet gown had a sexy goth feel that I really am digging right now, I also loved her short silver mini that she changed into for the show. Katie Holmes, what are you doing here? Who is babysitting Suri? Kreayshawn is adorable and I love how she stayed true to her personal style in a Mickey Mouse mini with kicks. Victoria Justice rocked a silver mini and looked age appropriate for the event.
Bottom row L-R: Jessie J managed to look presentable if you disregard the fact that she is not wearing pants and had a bejeweled cast and crutches. Britney, as I mentioned earlier, what is with that romper? And why wear that belt? And those shoes? I can go on and on......Justin was by far the best dressed male on the black carpet rocking a YSL blazer and amazing leopard kicks. Lastly, Crystal Reed kept her rocker cool while not going over board. I'm really loving her laid back look.
