I
am very excited for the newest collaboration with H&M. Maison Martin
Margiela is the most avant garde designer to do a collection for the
mega store and really shows the direction that they want to go in. The collection consists of iconic Margiela pieces from the
past, either a play on an everyday item or a completely unique piece. I
personally am not so sure how well this collection will sell but the
fact that H&M even approached Margiela shows that there is a demand
for this type of fashion and the H&M shopper has become extremely
fashion forward.
I'm
honored to be invited to the pre-shopping event in Toronto next month. I
am eager to see these pieces up close. Below are my favorites from the collection - I am dying for the opera glove handbag.

I tried on that tan and black jacket in the Chicago H&M. So hot, but so incredibly heavy!
