Best Dressed: SAG Awards

Photobucket

It was a rainbow on the red carpet at the SAG Awards last night and boy am I happy that color came out to play. Kyra Sedgwick wowed in a red Pucci gown with peek-a-boo cut outs while Michelle Williams looked sweet in a red Valentino. Emily Blunt went for a bold green Oscar de la Renta gown and Jessica Chastain looked amazing in a sapphire Calvin Klein. Fuchsia was THE color of the night as seen on "Modern Family" mommies Julie Bowen (Templery) and Sofia Vergara (Marchesa) and on "Glee"-full songstress Dianna Argon (Carolina Herrera). The hottest look award goes to cheerleader of the year, "Glee's" Naya Riviera in Naeem Kahn.

Best Dressed: Critic's Choice Awards

There seemed to me a color theme at this year's Critic's Choice Awards. Black was sleek and chic as seen on Kristen Dunst in Dior, Charlize Theron in Alaia and Michelle Williams in Chanel. On the sunny side of the street, bright yellows and cool nudes complimented the complexions of Elle Fanning in Rodarte, Elizabeth Olsen in Pucci and Diane Kruger in Prada.

Best Dressed: Golden Globes

The Golden Globes red carpet was surprisingly a good one for many usually badly dressed celebs. My biggest wow of the night was Nicole Kidman who wore a sexy yet stoic Versace studded gown. It has been a long time since she's looked good on the red carpet so many mazels to her. I adored Zoeey Deschanel's couture Prada gown, the beaded collar was so cute and her hair gave the whole look a 60's MOD feel. Reese Witherspoon vamped it up in a smoking hot red Zac Posen number and new comer Shailene Woodley managed to stand out from the crowd in a gorgeous art deco inspired Marchesa gown. My pick for best dressed was Michelle Williams. Her pixie cut and girlie style was complimented perfectly by her navy devoree Jason Wu gown and vintage Fred Leighton headband.

Jason Wu x Target

I always love the Target collaborations but after the Missoni fiasco I am cautious to not get too excited. I don't want to get caught spending over $100 on eBay for any of these items when they are priced under $60 for in store and online purchases.

The collection is very cute and echos Jason's runway and high end designs. While I love the cute skirts and sweet dresses I'm not too impressed by the handbags. They look poorly made but what do you expect from Target?
