Tommy Ton X Club Monaco

Last night was the launch party for the exclusive bag mini collection designed by world renown fashion photographer, Tommy Ton for Club Monaco. The event took place at the Bloor St. Flagship store in Toronto and surrounded by his friends and colleagues from Canada, Tommy was the toast of the town yet again. The collection features a briefcase and backpack in similar navy canvas and leather trim designs with silver tone metal hardware. They are soon to be available at select Club Monaco stores and this coincides with the launch of the Club Monaco e-commerce site.





Seen on the 'Who's Who' of the fashion world, Tommy's bags are unisex and seasonal. I cant wait to get my hands on one of the briefcases, the perfect utilitarian carry-all for my daily essentials.

Marni X H&M

Last night I was honored to be invited to the exclusive launch of the Marni X H&M collection at the H&M Bloor St. store in Toronto. I got access to BUY the collection before it was launched today in stores nation wide. To say that it was pandemonium would be an understatement. After waiting in a reasonable line up for 20 min we were ushered in and all hell broke loose. The ladies section was ravaged in a matter of seconds with girls ripping necklaces off displays and clothing off mannequins. Of course, in classic Canadian fashion everyone was extremely polite while ransacking the place. I managed to get my hands on a few key pieces and of course I did a little shopping for my man!

My favorite piece that I snagged was the long mixed pattern dress. It will be perfect for the summer with a belt. I also grabbed the polka dotted sweater (and one for my mom). The jewelry was impossible to grab but I managed to get 2 sets of clip on earrings. Very chic and kind of fun but definitely not everyday wear. For my husband I picked up this classic Marni t shirt of which part of the proceeds go to help Japan relief. I loved the polka dotted pattern of this men's shirt but I wasn't fast enough to grab it in a women's item. Lastly, these sunglasses are the perfect unisex item. We'll see if I share them.
