Red Carpet: 2012 Emmy Awards
This year I was pleasantly surprised by how pulled together everyone looked at the Emmys. Sofia Vergara is a bombshell and always looks amazing but this year she shied away from a taffeta bridesmaids dress and opted for a teal sequin number by Zuhair Murad. Thank god Julie Bowen didn't wear a jumpsuit again, her chartreuse Lhuillier gown was chic and added curves to her body. Finally, Tina Fey got it right! Every year she looks good but something is always a bit off. This year she shines in a Westwood gown that fits her like a glove. Best known for her role as the uptight Marni on the hit show "Girls", Allison Williams' Oscar de la Renta gown was the perfect color of green to make her eyes pop and the architectural bodice prevented her from looking like she was going to her senior prom.
All I have to say about Kat Dennings is Va Va Voom! She showed Hollywood that a tan is not necessary! Jessica Pare's choice of a white Jason Wu gown was simple enough that nothing was over the top but hopefully she will kick it up a notch for the Golden Globes. Lesley Mann's Naeem Khan gown is my favorite of the night. I love how she paired turquoise with the yellow and beaded gown. Lastly, Claire Danes' yellow Lanvin showed off just the right amount of her baby bump and the color enhanced her baby glow.

Spring 2012: NYFW Part 3
Proenza Schouler
3.1 Phillip Lim
Rounding out this week at NYFW are two of my all time favorites, Proenza Schouler and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Jack and Lazaro of PS have a way or reading my mind when it comes to their collections. I'm sure every girl feels that way too. The perforated leather, tropical prints, acid-y colors and flirty skirts creates a mix that only these boys can pull off. I love the flutter-y feel of the dresses and the kaleidoscope beachy prints.
Phillip Lim knows his New York gal. His Spring collection is a modern take on the grunge girl of the 90's. I love the crazy mixing of prints and use of moto style jackets. The layering and cut of the clothes makes it look like you rolled out of the chicest bed ever! I love his nod to the "I (heart) NYC" t shirt and the boots look like the perfect combination of a creeper and huarache sandal.

Spring 2013: NYFW Part 2
Elizabeth and James
J. Crew
NYFW is in full swing and I am happy to say I have not been let down one ounce. Her are two of my everyday favorites, J. Crew and Elizabeth and James, and by the looks of these two collections, I can't wait for the Spring!
I am drooling over the
Elizabeth and James collection. It is so chic and laid back, I can't
wait to get my hands on those oversized blazers, nonchalant robes, jewel
tone pants and amazing sandals. As a huge supporter and lover of
Mary-Kate and Ashley, I am so happy to see them taking EJ to the next
level and really putting these designs on par with The Row.
Jenna Lyons at J. Crew has managed to take the brand to a level that makes the pieces the perfect compliments to high end designer accessories. I love to mix J. Crew with other branded items and people always ask me where I got my fabulous coat or necklace and I never hesitate to blurt out "J. Crew"!

MTV VMAs Red Carpet
The MTV VMAs were last night and as usual the red carpet was crawling with the Good, Bad and Heinous. Lets start with Miley Cyrus in a rather boring Emilio Pucci gown. Miley, you were looking super hot and then you decided fuck it all up with a bad hairdo. Even Pink, in a slinky silver gown, can barley pull off the look. But Pink is tough as balls so no one is gonna tell her that her hair needs some work. But Miley, a word, start growing your hair out NOW.
Rihanna looked amazing in this white hot gown but this picture doesn't do it justice. Her performance was a bit ho-hum but over all "We Found Love" is the video of the year and RiRi was the hottest chick there last night. Taylor Swift tried to one up Rihanna with a J. Mendel white pantsuit but she ends up looking so washed out that she is just a pair of red lips floating above a jacket.
Emma Watson, the only person on this list who can actually pull off a pixie do, looked cute and sexy in a colorful mini in mixed neons. Lastly, Nicki Minaj showed everyone her amazing budunk-a-dunk in a skin tight lace body suit with red piping. Yes, Nicki, we get it, your ass is fabulous.
